Beware of the "Back To The Future" Trilogy

Seems there is a "framing" issue (minor issues most people won't notice) but I was reading in the thread above about how it won't really take anything away from the movie, but it is something people should be aware about (for example, in BTTF 2 doc pushes a button on martys jacket to make it adjust to the right size, you can't see this on the dvd-release because it's mis-framed--things like this). I'm also having a seperate problem which I don't know if it's been adressed or not but (only tried the first disc so far) it locks my DVD-Player when I try to play it :( I have to go to scene selections and then select chapter one. Not a big issue, but it's annoying and shouldn't happen.

Eitherway, it looks like they are defective but on a lighter note Universal looks like they're going to do something about it. Just a heads-up...

I, personally, would not cancel. You'll be able to get a new set from Universal. If you cancel who knows when all these "damanged" sets will get phased out by new ones. You'll never know if what you buy at Best Buy is the new set or the old set.

It's no big deal, really. I watched all of it and I wouldn't have noticed it and the fact of it locking my DVD-Player may only be because of a problem with my player (JVC XV300) though I don't know for sure since I haven't tried them in any other DVD-Player.

when I watched mine, I saw Doc press Marty's button (did that sound gay?)
