Finally got around to snapping off a few photos. You'll need to cut and paste these links from geo*cough*ities

My home theater has been in the making since high school when I bought my first receiver. The only things remaining from my original setup are the 2 Altec Lansing speakers. That was about 8 years ago, before Altec Lansing pulled out of home theater audio and went purely multimedia. The speakers are the next thing on my list to replace and hopefully after Christmas I will have enough money to buy 5 new speakers in the Dynaudio Audience line.

Here's a list of components:
TV/Monitor: Hitachi 51SWX20B. 51" HDTV
Satellite: Sony SAT-HD100 Directv receiver with high definition decoder.
DVD: Panasonic RP62 progressive scan
VCR: Sony SLV-640HF
Receiver: Marantz SR7200
Front Speakers: Altec Lansing 95
Center: JBL SC305
Subwoofer: Hsu Research VTF-2
Antenna: Zenith Silver Sensor HDTV antenna
Cabling: All Monster Cable

mine

Equipment:

Denon 2802 6.1 receiver (only using 5.1 right now...)
Panasonic 36" Tau HDTV
JVC 7-dvd progressive changer
Klipsch SF-2 Mains
Klipsch SC-1 Center
Klipsch Quintet rears (too lazy to find stands/mounts for my KSB 1.1 rears)
Klipsch KSW-12 sub
XBox
TV stand by Bell'O (AVSC-2051MC)
Sanus rear speaker stands

recent additions are an old dreamcast and nintendo64 as well (not pictured...the above pics are old)

i'm searching for upgrades (hey, i've had these speakers for over 1 year!!) ;)

for fronts i am leaning towards Klipsch RF-7's and for the sub i am wanting an SVS sub.

I was debating between the SVS and HSU subs for a long time. They both outperform subs priced in the $1000-$2000 range. Let me know how the SVS works out.

Couple more here:
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/hipnotic_tranz/room/

Pioneer D509s Reciever
JVCXV300 DVD-Player
RCA 4-head HI-FI VCR
Klipsch SC-1 center
Klipsch quintets (fronts & rears)
27" GE T.V. that is starting to go bad on me :( Picture wobbles around sometimes
SVS 25-31 (one of the earlier ones--was b-stock and has the 190w AMP if I remember correctly compared to the new bash 320w)

Solstice - It's a beautiful sub. I'm by no means an audio expert but it does sound execellent in my 12x12 room :) I have my system calibrated to reference level and the sub is only 1/4 of the way up :) So I could really shake shit if I wanted.
