Film88.com artical on home page

I just glanced at the head line artical about trying to shut down a site called Film88.com for streaming pay per view movies.
Gee, yea I can see major copy right violations there! You can't save them to the harddrive or copy them the article said, so I geuss that is a major violation! YEP sure is, just like running down to the corner video rental store and comming home with 6 movies or so that you can copy from one vcr to the other before taking them back!
Probably has to do with the fact it is a forien company! Gee what's next, Shut down 90% of the grocery stores in the USA for copyright violations, just about all of them rent movies now!
For anyone interested not knowing, you do not need specail liscenceing or permision to rent video's!
I am set up with VHS DVD wholesalers to buy in volume for resell and rental, only difference is supposedly the rental tapes are much better quality than the retail tapes and cost about 3 times more (and higher) for new releases. Also I can get movies about 3-6 months before they hit the retail market!
I suppose what it boils down to is greed and the fact they might be able to buy one movie and stream it to 50 people at once! Compared to tape rental that you own one copy for every rental done at the same time! Own ten, rent ten, only own 5 you can only rent 5 at the same time! Course of the ten you own and rent about 4 people or more are giong to make their own copy while watching it! Why buy $100's worth of movies when you can buy 2 VCR's for less than $200 then rent all the movies at $2 -$3 each and make your own?
Copy protection? Bah Humbug, you can buy a 2 tape unit for under $300 that ignores it, and makes professional quality copies!
It's all a scam. Kinda like MS using those stupid long hard to enter registration codes printed on the package to install thier software! Only the stupid and honest people have problems, like not making copies of it and losing the original code label
Pirates are smart enough to write it on the CD or incude the code in a text file in the zip package! So what good does it do anyway? Track it and see who owned the first copy? Yea, right! Like I ever tell MS I bought any of thier garbage in the first place!
I don't pirate software, but I don't send in the registration either when I buy it! So what good is that code, think the pirates send in the registration codes??
Kinda like leaving the top down on your convertable corvette then locking the doors! What good does it do??
