I know it's been out a while but I just got around to watching it and it was great. Wierd to know it was a true story... ...definitly like the gansta stuff in the earlier ages though Anybody else like it/dislike it?

goodfellas is one of my FAVE mafia-esque flicks.

Godfather 1, 2, casino, scarface, goodfellas.

they're all up there. But the current goodfella dvd is a lousy flipper, can't wait for a SE.

Yeah, I thought that as well. The video lookd like VHS and the audio wasn't all that great either. Still a very good movie though. I still have to see scarface & Godfather. Can you believe I've not see either of these?

Scarface is simply awesome and it gets better each time you see it. At least it does for me.

The DVD I have looks barely vhs quality. Why they even release movies that way is beyond me. To make a quick buck from the fans, then later release a better version. And hollwooood is whining about people ripping their moves off from the net.


I haven't seen Goodfellas in a while, but it is a good one for sure. Those guys were so cold, especially the pesci character. Like succubis said Godfather 1 and 2 along with Casino are good ones also. Not up to par as Scarface, to me anyway. Dog Day Afternoon is an interesting movie also and worth watching.


Scorsese has a new one coming out soon that might be good called Gangs of New york.
