this is a long (4hrs) movie about the british occupation of India ca. 1890 - it's a very well done mix of anti colonialism, "the rainmaker" and other stuff. it has a strong anti colonial anti racist message. intersting flick - netflix has it don't know where else - ok for kids

Do you use netflix, if so how's the shipping?

I use to but last few times I tried them I barely had enough time to see 4 movies in one month because shipping was so slow.

Tried another site called dvdavenue and they were quick at first but slowed down to netflix speed too.

i've been using netflix for about 6 mos now to avoid the late fee blues - with my kids and schedule it usually takes 2-3 nights or more to watch one film

so far it has been about 8 days for a turnaround - from the time i send it til i get a new one - it was about 10 days after 911 but that was understandable - i've gotten maybe 40 movies, none defective - the selection isn't as good as the video store for new american stuff, but they have a much better selection of foreign films and misc stuff that any place around here - around here the foreing/independent movie section has maybe 100 titles the turnaround hasn't really been an issue because we take so long to finish a movie we always seem to have one spare ready to go

overall i'd give it 4/5 on choice and service and 5/5 on value for people who sometimes keep movies for 10 days :)

they have a good backlist of the cirque de soleil films which are really amazing and entertaining - international circus which concentrates on gymnastics

i really liked this movie.

my friends at work recommended this to me (it was nominated for best foreign flick oscar).

I now understand how to play cricket. decent acting, cool music. i'll probably get the dvd.
