I saw this movie in theatres, even though I didn't want to. I wasn't expecting much, but I was treated to a decent movie, that although quite perdictable, was an enjoyable way to spend 2 hours. For $11.99 why not give it a try? Mark Whalberg does a great job, and it's funny to watch the 80's stuff.
Damn pie thieves...

Yeah that sums it up pretty well. Not a bad flick to rent.

I watched it last night. I didn't really expect much, but for what it was I really liked it. Overall a good movie, worth watching at least once...

And yeah chottoED, I caught that "funny" thing in the credits too...

(I take it you mean the Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch song Good Vibrations?) :)

I liked it quite a bit also.
I like 80's metal too though.
the songs they wrote for the soundtrack are good.
I listened to the directors commentary also and it was quite interesting...
did you guys know the story is based loosely on Judas Priest?
check out the songs on morpheus if you can
Steel Dragon - We all Die Young, Stand Up (written by Sammy Hagar),Living the Life
Zakk Wylde, Jason Bonham and Jeff Pilsner from Dokken are the band with different vocals from Joe Scott SOto of (malmsteem and stryper)
it was a fun click...
