Godfather DVD set

Post by Busby »

Anybody planning on picking this up? It's like $80 online and $105 in stores or something. 5 discs.

*Blah*
Seems tempting even though I personally have never seen the films but that is mainly due to lack of DVD (I don't like VHS anymore, no surround sound, inferior quality, rewind and fast forward take forever) and also lack of interest. But from what everyone tells me the Godfather movies are pretty d@mn good.
*End Blah*

I was thinking of getting it as a Christmas present for my pops....but I dunno how much he'd watch it.
That's a lot of $$$ though......

That is pretty damned expensive. If you have never seen them, definitely rent them first. I have only seen the first, and it rocks. I hear II is good, but III sucks, though.

Maybe they will release them seperately. I wouldn't mind having I and II myself. I am not paying $80 for the set, though. Hell, my DVD player only cost $200. (Good old Mercata, I miss them)
