Has anyone else used Netflix for renting DVDs?
I have used it for several months and not only do they have a huge selection of DVDs (they claim "every DVD released"), but it's so much easier in compared to buying something and finding out it's crap.
I want to get everyone's take on this service before I keep talking about them.
I've used them a lot and have been pleased. At first though they shipped the dvd's out much quicker to where I could easily rent 20 or more in a month. Heck I was getting them faster than I could watch them. But the last time I used them the delivery was much slower and I could get 10 or maybe 15 in a months time. You still can't beat the convenience and selection.
btw, see the add at the bottom of this page and you'll see anyone can sign up with netflix and get the first month half off. So it's just $10 for one month of unlimted DVD rentals. Of course you can cancel just before that month ends to avoid their regular 19.99 charge. When you try to cancel they present you with a couple other choices like 12.95 for unlimted rentals but you can only rent 3 at a time instead of 5. Still a good deal though.

I was a netflix user for a while. It is really nice if you watch a LOT of movies. When I got back to school from coop, I stopped watching so many.
It is easy to forget to return one, and have the same movie for like 2 months. Then, you end up wasting cash. So it all comes down to this:
"Do you watch more than 6 DVD's a month?"
In the end I canceled, because I can buy a movie every month instead of just renting a few. That was my justification, at least.
