Wow. Great movie. Gritty and brutally realistic in the same way as Saving Private Ryan. It also in many ways reminded be of the movie Das Boot, because so much of it was filmed inside the cramped confines of the tank. You really get a taste of what it was like to be a tanker in WW II.

I liked the fact that you get thrown into the action right away instead of the typical Hollywood formula nowadays of spending the first 30 minutes of the movie setting up the back story and all the characters.

Yea I heard great things about it. I've been waiting to finish my HT that I'm building out in my basement to watch it.

Watched it like a month ago, I thought it was a really good movie. It definitely stayed true to the time period and didn't try to do something that wasn't real.
When all else fails, replace the user.
