I thought it was very well done. I ended up watching it on Fox because NatGeo decided to keep their bright yellow logo in the bottom right corner, a constant bright yellow advertisement of the show on next in the upper right, and advertisements for other crap in the across the bottom of the screen. Fox only had their transparent logo.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. The introduction by the President was unnecessary. I really liked how they started with an excerpt from the original series and transitioned to the new one.

same here. the visuals are very well done. the science is highly dumbed down and glossed over, but that's expected for mass consumption. i really like how this is putting out the idea of a larger cosmos (much more so than from the original series...multiverse theories and all) to the general public. this is the type of stuff more people need to see and think about, then hopefully improve upon later.
