Star Trek: TNG on Blu Ray in 2012

I've been waiting for this since I bought the original series on Blu Ray. The Next Generation is getting the same treatment as the first. The original negatives are being scanned and the SFX redone for 1080i.

Oh man, now I'm gonna have to re-watch the series again. I'm still in the middle of Voyager.

I enjoyed voyager. I can't think of the name of the other one that was focused around the space station, but I liked that as well. Can't wait to get TNG on bluray.

:: EDIT ::
Just thought of it. It was Deep Space 9.

Funny, I just finished watching a few more episodes of Voyager a second ago. Yup, DS9. I really like all of the series' except Enterprise for different reasons.

I couldn't stand Voyager. The plot was too inconsistent, and they ruined the Borg for me. In Enterprise the Borg were scary. In Voyager they were just another alien race.

DS9 was the best series in my opinion: darker, edgier, with deep contraversies and characters who were flawed like people are in the real world.

Except for the final episode of DS9 which blew chunks.

You mean that the Borg were scary in The Next Generation.

I certainly wouldn't say that Voyager their best work, but there were high points among the lows.

Ack, yes. Senior moment. The Borg were scary in TNG.

BTW Enterprise totally sucked IMO until the season they started off with the mirror universe. Then they cancelled it of course.

Oh Voyager had it's moments, but I only realized how bad it sucked when I tried to watch the whole series over again. I had no problem re-watching all the series except Voyager - that was just too painful. The bad episodes far outweighed the good ones.

Don't get me wrong, I liked a lot of the characters - loved Janeway - and there were some really good episodes, but they were the exceptions.
