Superman Returns

Post by b-man1 »

i'm surprised no one has posted on here about this movie yet!

i just saw it last night...thought it was excellent. there are many plot holes and questions i would like answered that the movie ignores or does not address, but the story and action were top notch.

i'd give it a 8.5/10. :)

i'll wait to post questions/spoilers after others reply.

I'll wait until it's on PPV as IMO, there's been too many Superman movies (like Batman too) and seeing yet another version doesn't trip my trigger.

i would compare this one to the new batman movie...these recent releases of old standards put the majority of the older movies to shame. the original superman and batman movies were awesome...then the sequels were all jokes. this one puts the franchise back in line.

this doesn't count as a spoiler, but might help your opinion of waiting:

one of the "beat down" scenes toward the end surprised me with how violent it was. i'm all for it :) , but thought "hmmm...that might be a bit intense for the <10 year olds in here". hehehe

just go to a matinee when the movie is cheaper...definitely something you want to see on the big screen for the special effects and sound.
