i saw it, its ALL over the place.

some parts just make you laugh because the acting gets so bad.

all in all Jackman does a pretty good job, the problem is in the story and the masting of Dracula.

Yeah, I have to agree about the storyline. What a shame as the effects I really enjoyed. When the movie first started, and I heard these lines, "it's alive", I was thinking...man this movie might suck.

Movies like this are right down my alley. Aliens, resident evil and the like. This is somewhat like those, mixed in with mummy movie elements. Since it is the same director who made the mummy movies.

I liked it. I liked it a lot actually. I read mostly reviews trashing it so I wasn't expecting much. But heck, non-stop action, fun special effects, cool monsters and those sexy vampire brides. :w ow

Yes it could have had a stronger story. But it still was mucho fun. Almost like a roller coaster through a haunted theme park.

I watched it today, and I really liked it alot. I thought the effects were cool and the story line wasnt bad at all, I have seen a Whole lot worse with Vamps and Werewolves involved. Im curious though about a sequel surely there will be one. Van Helsing: the beginning?
