Once Upon a Time In Mexico

Post by blade »

Just plain suked! :d runk

I liked El Mariachi and really liked Desperado. This one had none of the fun from either. Only good thing (and I really hate to say this) was the character depp played. Otherwise Banderas and Salma were hardly around. And the lighting, my gawd. Plain gawd awful.

Even the action scenes sucked.

One good line though:

"Are you a Mexi<b>can</b> or a Mexi<b>can't</b>" :d

Yeah salma is a honey. But she wasn't shown much in this movie, at all. And it needed all the help it could get.

I liked it, but thought the plot was three times too complicated to no good end. Depp ruled, Antonio was good, Salma was wasted (literally), but I have to diagree about the photography - I thought it was beautiful and worthy of an Oscar nomination, but I'm betting it won't get anything because it's digital and Rodriguez shot it himself.

Once upon time in mexico had a great plot and story in the first half, during the second half of the movie where everything goes bezerk and looses place was just horrible. Cant believe i wasted 12 bux to see this movie.

Didn't really like this... Johnny Dep was still funny though... but then again.. I didn't like Desperado either... that and not enough of Selma Hyak

Rented it the other night... I agree with what you said Blade, this movie stunk! I loved Desperado but this movie a mess. Glad I didn't see it at the theater... :( :mad

I thought 'original sin' was fantastic. His little role in 'Four Rooms' was pretty good as well. I like him as an actor, but I don't like most the roles he chooses.
