I was SSssssooooo disappointed with this movie. It was like watching a bad 80's movie. The plot was see through, the battles were horrible, and the historical accuracy was non-exsistent. The weapon sounds were REALLY bad. The Thompson and the BAR sounded like an M60. The weapons were way over exaggerated. The grenades and bazookas went off like napalm bombs.

WWII story + John Woo = SHIT

I'm gonna go watch Band of Brothers now.

Yep, it was like watching a movie that didn't know if it wanted to be treated like a serious movie or an action movie, and just ended up a pile of crap. I love WW2 movies but I'm not watching this one ever again. I could watch SPR or BoB anytime tho...

Everything looks bad compared to Band of Brothers!

Too much angst, explosions & historical inaccuracies. Kinda cartoonish movie. Very hollywood.
