Turn Signals, Do you use yours?

Post by blade »

Here in yahoo land maybe 10-20% do. It's always annoyed me and it remains consistant, people here are just too damn lazy to flick their wrist to move the signal switch. And many just slam their brakes and turn all of a sudden.

I especially like the ones who only give a signal as they are in the actual turn. :;

Just a pet peeve of mine. Drivers here suk bad.

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la ...

I use them unless there are no cars around, then they are pointless.

If I see another driver who is going to turn in front of me and not use a signal, I will purposely pull into the intersection. As I drive by them, I flash my hands like a truning signal and give them a big grin. Man do they get mad. :D

I use them. Funny thing happened a couple of days ago on my way to work. I put my left turn signal on and the guy in the lane next to me starts laying on the horn. WTF? It's not like I started coming into the lane, I just put the friggin thing on!! Aren't you supposed to do that when you are about to change lanes? :rolleyes: Later that night (around 1 am) I was pulling out of a parking lot making a right hand turn (yes, I had my turn signal on). The guy in the opposite lane of traffic slams on his brakes and lays on his horn. I guess he thought I was making a left hand turn. Hello?? Look at my turn signal!! He must've downed a few too many at the bar!! Just funny I ran into two really freaky drivers in one day.

My rule of thumb....if it's going to affect someone around me, I use 'em...but like others have said, no one around, why bother. Around here tho, it seems signals are an option people can't afford when they buy their cars, so yes...if what I do will have an affect on another driver, I always use 'em.

I always try to use them unless I'm on the highway and there is nobody around me or in some backroads where nobody is aruond me. Though, since I'm kinda new, I forget ever once in a while :o

Ditto to what my girl stacy said.

If there are other cars around, yes, if not, no.
