Feedback and opinions needed here please

Post by bitSLAP »

I think the new design is almost ready.

Blade is having a problem with the mouseover buttons, where they want to continuously load something. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong, as it works fine for me in both netscape and ie.

If you could post if you are having a similar problem, it would be appreciated.

Any last comments or suggestions? We can always add things later on though.

Still happens in ie but not in netscape. Guys what happens to me in ie is when I move my curser on the button links on the top bar it waits to load the image first then shows the mouse over image. Those on cable or dsl may not notice this but any on dial-up please post if this happens to you too. But that might be stopped once it's on our server, possibly.

Well guys and gals, what ya think? :)

Wow, I like what you've done :) I suppose the only thing I might recommend would be that you change the cutout on the top to be symmetrical. I.e., so that the cutout on top is the same size as the cutout on bottom. If you don't get what I'm trying to say, I'll e-mail you or something. Or maybe even make my own copy of what I'm trying to say ;)

Looks great. The mouse over buttons change color and all other links seem to work for me. I am using IE 5.5.

Other than the spelling of the word "calendar," they both look great :D

Doh! I didn't notice that either. It is "calendar" and not "calender". An easy mistake. :P

Thanks JMan :)

no mouse over effect problem for me either... I'm on a customers machine at the moment using IE 5.0 and a 26400 dial up connection.. ick. Nice job on it, I really like the new design.

It's with me, crappy dialup, ie5.5. But then again if you fixed it I guess it would work. :)

Looks great, now give yourself a pat on the back. :D :D :D

Oh dear. I fixed the spelling error, not the mouseover problem.

It has something to do with preloading the mouseover images. For some reason ie 5.5 doesn't always preload them I guess.
