It is a little huge. Lots of new buttons and such. Plus, the p233 I surf on at 'work' is seriously slowed down by all hte animated gifs.

poop - I agree, it's very busy. But blade is still workin' on a few things and I'm sure I'll get used to it after time anyway

Kinda sucks it runs slower for you though

I don't necessarily like the new faces, they are all the same color? bah, how boring....

What new faces?

I'm trying but this has so many more new templates to change. If some things aren't changed today they should be tomorrow.

One weird bug though. I have the time set on eastern time and it stays messed up. I'm trying.

Why is this SOOO much faster for me? I was aways used to that little wait to move around the boards. Blue screen but no text (forward OR backwards) and then the text would snap in with a bang anfter a few second delay. ..aways been like that. Both Comps too.. w/cable..

Now THIS flys forwards backwards without hesitation so far.

Gotta like that!

PS. More animation will hurt the dialupers. Guess we all know that.

blade - they aren't "new" but they don't have any specific color for them. Like, they used to be more yellow, and some were green, some were red (like the embarrased face) etc.

I can't really see a need for the new stuff yet. I do however agree with Koo Koo on the speed. Much snappier!

I'd keep an eye out for security holes for the next little while, blade.

I also like it, yet i am afraid for the extra setting. A lot of them i doubt we need. Like all the VB code BS in the post message.. Dunno about the buddy list option either...

But I like the new overall feel!!! very nice, I could get used to this board!!

The attach file option is nice as well.. question though, does it work without a host? as in can you upload a file from your hdd onto here?

You can upload a file from your HDD, but it's limited to 100K (so we can't attach the EM...bummer

).
All the options are really nice, only now we should see more people using colors in their post (so It won't be such a big deal if I do it anymore).
I really like the PM option though. It's really cool.

: So now we can send a message to someone even if they don't have AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, etc.

(go into your personal settings [not profile] and configure it to open a pop-up window when you get a PM, so wherever you are on PCA, you will get your message.

And now we don't have to bother Blade to just change out Avatar or "title". I'm sure he's happy about that!

It is reeeeaaaallllyyyyyyy slow when adding a reply especialy. I liked the old one more.
