Anyone here play Tribes? I'm goin out to get my copy of Tribes2 now... took a while for it to show up in norwegian stores How did you like it?

It aint a patch on Counterstrike but still good fun. The only thing I'm dissapointed in is the team based stuff...all the servrs i've been on its every man for himself...all team tactics are thrown out the window..

Still maybe it will get better as time goes by. Graphics are good but a bit bland in the colour department.

Overall good fun for a quick blast...not a 3 hour session like CS but still fun for a while...

It's fun but to be honest I expected more from it.I really dont see what's in the game they couldnt have done with a add-on pack for T1.

Like Wolfman said teamplay can be hard to find.People wanna go solo or steal your vehicles off the V-pad.But when you find a server with people that know how to do teamwork it's hella fun.

This game has SERIOUS glitches, I had to return it after a weekend of frustration I was getting 5-20 FPS with a system capapble of WAY more than that and it made no difference wether the settings where up or down or which res I used.

I was using an Athlon 800 with a Geforce DDR, went to the Tribes 2 board and there are THOUSANDS of complaints about this game. It is still really beta quality on the compatibilty and test front, be warned if you buy it you may have a terrible time getting it to work.

I exchanged my copy for Black and White and will try Tribes 2 in a couple of months.

I am diggin' it quite a bit myself, but there is that unfortunate FPS problem to deal with. But here is the odd thing: I installed the high res skins for the game, and my performance anctually increased a slight bit. Don't ask me. All I know is that Dynamix built a great game, and they always have improved it as much as they could to make it even better. The FPS issue will go away, don't worry.

Well i bought it, and it seems cool enough... i have on prob though. My mouse. I use button 2 to walk forward and button 1 for fire weapon. If i'm walking and then press button one to shoot, i stop walking and have to release button 2 and push it down again to start walking again
This is really annoying when playing. I ceep stop moving all the time... easy pray. Any ideas?

A forget about it already!! I uninstalled Logitech Mouseware and everything is aok crap...
Have desent FPS on my Geforce2GTS/Celery 850 in 800x600x32 with high quality... what are you whinig about?

Been playing the game since Tribes 1 was released and love it.

It's not a performance issue but problems with the game engine. Even running it at 640x480 with all eye candy off it was still only turning in 5-20 fps.

Yeah I bought it but I haven't played it much, I'm waiting for it to improve...
