My friend let me borrow his digicam cause I'm working on a review for PCA here and needed to take some pictures of the item; so I decided to take some other pics and share 'em with ya'll :) Here we go:

Heres the front of the house (just edited to show this) Do not be mistaken with the white house below, that is <b>NOT</b> ours :lol It looks rather small from the front, but its two stories and there is a lot in the back you cannot see. We are going to do some additions to the house this summer so I'll show ya some before/after shots :)

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/file ... _front.jpg>

Here you stand on top of our back deck looking out on Indian Lake (~65acres--you aren't seeing it all there)
<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/file ... m_deck.jpg>

Here is a picture of the deck you were standing on that my dad basically built. We hired somebody to do it for us cause he's quite busy but the guy did it completely off my dads standards (he used to do construction work) and even did some stuff wrong that could seriously damage the house. He hated it so he rebuilt it himself.

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/files/pca/deck.jpg>

Below here is what we call the "lift chair" we didn't make it, the guys that lived here before us made it for the older guy across the street because he had heart trouble and this made it MUCH easier to get down to the lake to fish. You can't see the chair here, but it just rides down these rails (slowly) with a wench/5ton cable. It has a thing that'll stop it at the bottom and top.

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/file ... g_down.jpg>

Here you are looking back up it. You can see the chair here; I usually don't even sit down cause its wet (like it was today). I think the chair is out of an old Volkswagon (we rebuilt that also)

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/file ... ing_up.jpg>

Here you can see the lake/dam from our dock.

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/file ... m_dock.jpg>

Stairs that lead to nowhere? Look below for da (short) story :)

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/files/pca/stairs.jpg>

Ok, one day my friend and I wanted to go fishin, we get all our shit together, head down there. We start down the stairs, I'm carrying the battery and he's carrying the poles, tackle. Well, when we get down there, he starst loading the boat, but then something BREAKS and he nearly falls in but jumps in the boat. He only got his ancles wet. Well, remember me? I'm the one with the 20-30lb battery stuck behind him...I didn't have time to jump or anything so I just fell int he water (only about 5 ft or so) but it was freezin' and ruined fishin' morning. Theres the story, we took it up all the parts as you can see here:

<img src=http://hipnotictranz.homestead.com/file ... n_dock.jpg>

Below is probably the biggest house/land lot on the lake. They are the "frenches." The older couple that used to live there passed away and now the kids own it or something. They rent it out as a party house. Lots of times in the summer you can hear jazz bands and lots of cool stuff goin' on over there. It's relaxing to just come down at night and sit at the dock listening. I once heard Pink Floyd and ZZ-Top played there before, but I have no proof. This came from my friends mom who lived here most her life.

haha, my dad will agrue with me, but I believe there isn't one single fish in there! :p I found the best fishing is below the dam, you see lots of yellow bellies and carp (which are fun to catch) down there. But in total, I would say there are croppy, bluegill, bass, and already mentioned, catfish and carp. They used to stock the lake a lot but for some reason they've stopped. I hope they start it up again!

Its funny, before we moved here, they put a truckload of northern-pike in there; I kid you not. We live in indiana, so it gets pretty hot in the summer; I'm sure the water just cooked 'em.

Good pics and a nice and fun place to call home HT. :)

That would be a kids perfect place to have all kinds of fun while growing up. Adults too.

Thank you for sharing. :)

Nice place Hip. With a little tweaking, that powerchair could be the best attraction on the lake.....

Can you see my parents' pad?

It's middle left, by the road :)

So, HT...where's the utility box where your dual OC-12 backbone comes in?

Thanks guys.

Hey d_b, do you know the radio station Q-95? I don't know if you get it in that part of indy or not? Anyway, if you do then you'll get what I'm talkin' about. Do you know Bob & Tom--the morning people? Well, Tom used to live on our lake the moved away but now now Bob lives here :)

That's cool, a celeb on your lake :D Tell Bob you want to do a show with him and Tom. Say it's part of a school project. I've listen to Q95 when I head south on 30. I usually pick it up around Kokomo. Those dudes are funny. :laugh

I love how the house looks like a one-story from the front, yet it's a two story!
Awesome place to chill there, man!
