I saw him come out of the ice and then they took him to the hospital. What happened then?
BTW Has anyone seen his street magic? Tight act. In one TV show he levitated himself. The camera panned all the way out, he put his arms out, and then lifted a couple inches off the ground. Everyone watching was wiggin' out. Pretty amazing.
What happened to David Blaine?
I haven't heard about him since that show... What do you think of him? I don't really like him all that much. My English teacher (also a magician) says that Blaine has tons of awesome tricks, but never really pulls them off with attitude or oomph. I think pretty much the same, I never feel like saying "Wow, that guy is neat." I dunno

I agree JMan, he does great magic but he's WAY too serious. Dude needs to lighten up. I don't see how he could use camera tricks, it's all live on the street.
Yeah, he came out of the ice and whispered to someone that "something's wrong." The put him on a stretcher and rushed him to the hospital. I kept expecting the ice to explode and he would appear or something but nada. Some trick. "For my next act I will freeze my feet and then make them disappear in the ER."
All of his material is amazing though. In a card guessing trick he threw the whole deck at window. The picked card appeared stuck to the inside of the window.

heh, the levitating thing is awsome till you figure out how it's done. There was this one show that explained it. Even though I didn't really want to ruin the trick by knowing, I couldn't turn the channel

The card trick is also easy as hell.
1.) The card was already stuck to the otherside of the window. An decoy stands in front of it and nobody notice he's blocking a card stuck on a window until the deck is thrown.
2.) You pick the card from a deck thats faced down, but what they don't know is all the cards are all the same, and they're also same as the one already stuck on the window.
Or the cards are not the same but there is a person on the otherside of the window who gets signal by David to stick on the correct card.

I was almost there...
I was in Manhatten Wednesday night and drove thru Times Square around 10:45. There was a crowd blocking the scene, but I caught a glimpse of his ice block and they must've been cutting him out around then.
