in my community there tree debri every were glad no flooding do . downtown Hudson and New Port Richey are flooded .it be interesting to see what tomorrow brings .Im in a garage unit so im happy .but about of the units in here have carports on the other end of my community , were expecting to see one or two or more damaged from the winds guest's we have seen from this storm . the community 45 years and old well keep up but still age takes it toll ,
will say if this storm had been 50 miles closer to us in the gulf of Mexico . we would of left are home for higher country ! as this being rated as a cat.3 hurricane .
the storm already leaving are state were still getting strong rain and strong wind bands .time now is 11:25 pm im lucky we not lost power are internet did go down for about 5 min.that was pure luck .
Hurricane Helene debri everywhere!
Re: Hurricane Helene debri everywhere!
storm surge was the worst part of this storm .there boats that are laying in the middle of the streets . some were even stored in marinas and now are sharing the roads with cars . to give you a clearer idea one mariana had the boats stack 4 high and now the lower3 stacks of boats were floated away from this storm .in one area there a pile of 40 boats stacked in a pile. were they dont belong . it costing the owners $400 per hour to have them crane to be place on waiting flat beds . that not counting the towing bill . some of these boats floated 1 mile or more from were they were docked .

Your house okay Reno?
Thankfully nothing much my way. Some branches down, one or two trees here and there in the neighborhood. Never lost power.
