The Ring app has been down since early this morning, which is the first I knew of it. It's also knocked out the app that monitors my pool.

And this is why all my home automation does not use the "cloud" at all and is all local control. I have home assistant running on a Pi4 with a RF dongle that can read my weather station and uses the outdoor light levels to trigger stuff. As well as being able to run stuff from a phone or tablet as its just a web page you can browse to.
