Air and Furnace replaced today

Post by reno »

the company we hired had it done in like 6 hours not to shabby at all . when you think they are working in a 4/12 pitch roofs attic .this is pulling the old unit out. working in a very tight area .having to install some new duct work .install a new drip pan rewire the old unit and retrofit and rewire new system. remove and install a new breaker and install new thermostat -electronic but not a wifi enabled unit. something we didn't need as we are here 99 % of the time .not like we are going to change it. only very basic with day away ,home and sleep setting . (just a basic Honeywell unit ) {we spent 6-7 hours running 2 new lighting and and a power outlet and switch in this attic about a week ago .} also keep in mind are temps right now are still in the low 90s .also my attic has 10 to 12 inch of fiberglass blown in insulation ya fun to work in.
