I wish I had 28 years of birthday wisky. Sadly, I would have drank it.

When my father in law passed, I would up with a couple of bottles of Crown Royal that were 40 years old. I took my time drinking those. VERY smooth.

When my mother passed, I found an ancient bottle of Drambuie. It tasted way better than it does today.
