I think how well is will work will depend on the individual. It needs to make contact with your skin to be effective.

They well shirts with a pocket to put the unit. You'd really need one that's tight enough to keep it touching you. Alternatively, I suppose you could slather on a bunch of CPU thermal paste and strap it to your back.

I would think that with the animatroncis they now have that something like this would already be in the costumes.

I know people who work at Disney. They mostly use dry ice - often located in the head of the bigger characters - with a Fan to circulate cold air. But that only works with the big costumes. Actors who dress up like princesses, for example, have got nowhere to hide a dry ice system.

Oh.. I was only thinking of the full big suit costumes not the "clothing" ones.
