Our house guest's cat freaked out this morning when she saw it through the window and woke us all up.

I'm still waiting for the coffee to kick in. I thought your label said "Bear Driveway" when I first glanced at it.

Longer video from multiple cameras as he walked around the house. I'm surprised he didn't try to get into the trash bin.

thankfully we not had them visit here .. i have seen wild boar (about 250 to 350 pounder) here in my complex and lots of other animals . its common to see large alligator, armadillo ,snakes ,deer - tons of birds . but no bear but have heard coyote not seen them. but others have seen them .also seen a large Alligator make a meal out of a smaller alligator not a pretty site. thing is there no hunting allowed in my complex so the animals have free range. they do keep to them self and stay clear of people for the most part.were also not allowed to feed the wild animals or plant gardens for this same reason .

I'm surprised about the trash bin, too.
Last year while I was visiting w/my Mom for a week, I had just reached the bottom of the (inside) stairs, looked up, and saw, not 8 feet from me, through the big window that takes up half the side of that wall, this huge black bear lumbering past the window on the front deck, and I was like, omg,,, pls don't turn your head and look at me,,! It circled the deck, drank out of the ferals' water bowl, and went back down the steps.
We thought he'd gone, but in just a few minutes, there it was on the back deck! He had a bit of a hard time getting down the back deck steps because they're a bit narrower, lol,,, Then he lumbered off. Mom takes everything in at night, including Bird feeders and cat kibble.
Mom's had quite a few close encounters with black bears,, they come down the mountain behind the house and seem to like to pass through her carport,,, once she was just going down the deck stairs, and one came out the from the carport; she waited 10 minutes, figured it was safe, and a 2nd bear came through the carport!
Day before I got here last week, neighbor saw one crossing the street from mom's land to hers! If too many are seen around, the Town puts out an alert.
