I wish I would have taken pics of the one that my son and I went to in San Diego. My son was 10 years old. The LAN party had over 50 guys playing different games with prizes at the end of the evening/early morning. We were using Win95 machines playing Quake. I think it was back in 1995. Anyway, after the competition was done, I came in 20th place, and my son was 25th place. Even though we did not win, I received a prize for being the oldest one there, and my son won a prize for being the youngest one there.

Oh I remember that. It wasn't the horn that set off all the car alarms in the garage It was me making my car backfire with that 6" semi truck pipe I had that ran from the rear axle back. I think I did it about the third floor. I remember as we were going out cops were heading in. That backfire was epic in the garage. Good times!

I remember hearing about this on Overclockers.com and thinking wait a sec, I'm on that forum. But I was mostly posting stuff for sale then.
