Re: Nigerian scammers slide into DMs, so Ars trolls them
I got eight fake Apple tech support calls yesterday in the space of two hours (caller ID said 'Apple Inc' and a recorded message tells you that your iCloud account is suspended, and to press 1 to talk to support).
Around number six I decided to pickup (my house phone is on one ring answering machine) and I kept the lady that was pretending to be from Apple tied up for a good five minutes by pretending to be an utter moron who just wanted his porn back that was stored in my iCloud account.
Made my day.
I keep meaning to setup a fake PC in a VM with a Goatse wallpaper and sticky notes describing obscene things to have fun with a tech support scammer sometime.

Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.

I put them on hold telling them I want help, but I need like 5 minutes. Then just leave it there. They ALWAYS wait at least the 5 minutes. Record holder is 23 minutes. Bonus points for taking them off hold, saying in a rushed voice "5 more minutes" and putting them back on hold. Low effort and satisfying.
