Im just starting to look into booking a 3-5 day cruise from tampa , orlando or Ft. Lauderdale. we did (wife and I) talked about going to cuba but thats out now seeing there stop at the moment .
were thinking the Western Caribbean ,or just the Caribbean. im seeing some go from tampa to cancun . but i'm not really excited of going to mexico .

any help as to best time book price wise and got you to watch out for . also any good sites to check out when looking to book .
is it really worth up grading rooms to like a ocean view or getting a balcony. i know im not much of a drinker . so would a drink package really pay off.
any help guys and gals !

Nice!
When we used to cruise, we always booked a balcony,,, you have outside privacy, and you get to see things you otherwise wouldn't with an ocean view (just a window).
Try to get a cabin mid-ship ( too high up and you might feel more motion if you're prone to that,, ).
Check out all the cruise sites,,, you can find charts of where every cabin is located (which level, etc.), and try to stay away from cabins near elevators.

We're looking at Norwegian right now. They're offering Free open bar, Free WiFi, Free specialty dining, Free excursions and free guests (after guests 1 & 2).

Sale is going on until end of today (Friday). $50 to book and hold it. Just make sure to filter for those deals. The booze alone will save you money.

We just booked a 7 day on the Norwegian Joy which includes the Bahamas but it's their private island and not Nassau or any other part. A few of the cruise lines have those.
