I got it. SO, what's the decision on a gift? Old Atari cart and some floppies then? I found a Raiders of the Lost Ark Atari 2600 cart that can ship in a short time frame. Everyone else gives me a 1 - 2 week time frame. The floppies are on Prime.

I guess I'll have to have it shipped to me and then ship it to him so I can include a card, and gift wrap it. I have a Hallmark store here with a huge selection of cards.

A get well card doesn't seem appropriate for terminal cancer. I'm think something more along the lines of "Thinking about you".

Yeah that's my feeling. So tell you what, considering there's a hurricane coming my way, and I'm not keen on taking a chance on how fast a reseller will ship me something, let's do this since it's the thought that counts.

I so happen to have a factory sealed box of floppies. Been keeping them for years just in case a client needed them, but it's unlikely to happen now. So let's ship him that:

Yes, Losbot,, maybe a week and a half ago or so, he was able to post,,, so I was a bit surprised , and saddened, with Elmdea's news,,

Real First , and Usernames is great idea, imo.
She knows FP as Bob, I would reckon, and me as Loretta, not darcy; maybe others as well,, so yes , I would think that's the way to go.

Hmmm. Not sure I KNOW all your real names. Not sure he would either. My handwriting is nothing to holler about, and there's only so much room on the card, so I'd prefer keeping it to:
