Not sure why the car was towed in the first place:

Not too many dealerships in a residential area (like none) and there's none in the video. If the above statement was true, it'd be at a dealerships parking lot plus, who has a car towed a car for maintenance?

I think the tow truck driver picked up the car and stopped at his friend's house to show it off, before taking it to the dealer. According to the Youtube comments, there was an error code for the transmission and the owner didn't want to take a chance on driving it to the dealer.
