Why Snow Shoveling is an Unusually Deadly Type of Exercise
Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.
I always worry about my dad who's in his mid 60's when snow hits. He won't call anyone to help and I usually can't get out if the snow's bad enough to shovel.
Who wants to start a fitness craze where we get a walk-in large freezer, fill it full of snow, and charge to let people shovel it around? I'm afraid to google this concept because it probably exists.

Guess I've been shoveling snow 10+ years too long. I take it real easy when I do, but as a practical matter, it would be a long wait for someone to dig out my front and back doors after a snow like the last one. I like the idea of being able to get out if the furnace blows up or something.
I'm blessed to live out in the country with a neighbor who has a big farm tractor. He and his sons came out and did my driveway. The worst is the plow berm which is 5-6 feet after a snow like this.
I have an electric start snowblower for the paths to and from the house. I have about 3 feet of technically paved sidewalk in the back, but everything else is grass and my driveway is gravel.

my drive is gravel in michigan . there we use to shovel until the last couple of years. we now have it plowed . just to much work in a big snow . also have a electric start snow blower . but getting to the shed became a challenge in a big snow to.also snow blower was not to great on a gravel driveway ~ always worried about flying gravel using it. will say every spring the challenge is regrading all the loose grave that is moved by the snow plowing. no winning when it comes to winter and snow !
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.
