Looking for some help with the value of a mac

Post by Qui Gon-Jinn »

I picked up a MacBook Pro from a friend. She was the 2nd owner and has upgraded to a newer, smaller MacBook Pro.

Specs:

2.4ghz Core 2 Duo
4gb Ram
250gb HDD
17" Screen

it is the A1229 Santa Rosa version

I got an amazing deal on it. I don't do much Mac stuff but if someone offers you gold fro the price of aluminum you go for it. going to reload the OS Per my agreement with her, and then sell it or trade for a firearm. I know there are a few Mac people here so figured I would ask. A little bit of me is considering keeping it, running BootCamp and seeing what I can do with it.

Just because I am an a$$hole.. doesn't mean I don't care..

Otherwise, see what they're selling for on Ebay.
