I wear a 12 year old Seiko Titanium given to me by my parents. It's more convienent for me to look at my wrist than my cell.

i have a few and have been very happy with them. one is an automatic w/ display case on the back, so it's cool to see the actual mechanism in action.

I know some people tell me they just use their phone, but it's too awkward to pull out my phone just to check the time. I've always worn a watch.
I wear a $50 Casio G-Shock as my every-day watch. Indestructable, and the battery is good for 5 years. I just buy a new one every 3 or 4 years when I wear them out:
For dress, I have a Citizen "Eco-Drive" titanium automatic solar powered watche. I just leave it on the window sill and it stays charged. They'll hold that charge for weeks. Nice looking watch that goes well with my stainless steel and titanium jewelry.
And I also have a couple of older self-winding watches in a display case that rotates the watch to keep them wound, but I probably should give them away and buy another eco-drive. I never wear them anymore.

Yup, I do. Same reason as FP. Just too inconvenient to pull out the phone when I wanna check the time/date.

Many years ago I determined that I didn't like wearing watches anymore, can't at work anyway. I just don't like the feeling of anything on my wrist. I do have an old collection of watches however, none valuable.
There are always clocks of some type everywhere I go, cars, walls, PCs, cell phone, etc. I rarely need to ever know the exact time either, just doesn't matter.
The only time I'm not near a clock is when I'm up north at our cabin, outside somewhere and then I use my belt clip on watch (like an external pocket watch) if I think I might need to know what time it is (no cell service there either).

Ya I wear a stainless steel citizen Eco drive basically all the time. Much more convenient than pulling out the cell phone.

I wear a $30 timex with the old fashioned face that I can read without glasses. I usually get about 2 years out of one. I don't like cell phones and just carry one because I need to in case the wife or my elderly dad needs to get hold of me.
Years ago (pre cell-phone) I worked with a guy who refused to have a phone in his house. Said it aggravated him the anyone with $0.10 could call him up and bother him.

I have a Timex $25 watch that I bought back in 2006 at the Navy exchange. It still works. What is really interesting about this watch is the accuracy. Since I work in a calibration lab, we have an instrument called a Timometer that calibrates timers, stopwatches, etc. I put my watch on the Timometer, and it has an error of less than .08 seconds/24 hrs. Others in the lab can't believe it when they put their watch on the Timometer. They usually get errors of 2 seconds/24 hrs or more; however, I haven't worn mine in almost a year. I use my Droid RAZR MAXX cell phone.
