It seems that I'm seeing a lot of "red x's" lately with anything from geocities (sig's, other pics, etc.), yet if I check the actual site the files are there and work. Are they no longer allowing linking from other sites like xoom.com?

Unless it's just me I guess it's time to find another free web host, heck I guess I can use my @home space, haven't touched that yet...

I know, some thought it was the forum causing that problem but of course it's where any pics are linked from. They have had this problem from time to time but hopefully it won't last long. I haven't heard if they're stopping linking and from seeing pics again showing up I don't think that's the case.

I was reading (wish I had the link) that they are doing what XOOM has done. Not allowing external linking to images on their server. I guess it's time to find someone else.

Yep I heard from a few sources that they've stopped all external linking, so I uploaded my sig to my free @home space and it works again...

http://www.freeyellow.com/index.gsp I've used before and they were good. Bad thing though is don't upload any babe pics. I did that and they deleted my account. First I thought something was wrong so I tried a few more new accounts and sure enough, each time I started uploading babe pics(no porn) they deleted my accounts and finally I get an email saying I broke the agreement by uploading pornography. Duh, must be owned by virgins. Anyway they should be ok for sigs. But how did they know, they have people that actually check? :lol

Another is http://angelfire.lycos.com/ and maybe even yahoo.com, never tried them anyway. http://www.freeservers.com/ is another.
