My Request For Your Prayers

My father, in his mid 80's, has been steadily going down hill. He had heart trouble and was on blood thinners. So much of this stuff and he started bleeding in his brain. Demensia set in and he drove to the store and broke his hip leaving the store.
His body has rejected the artificial hip replacement. He has an unknown growth on his small intestine. His throat has closed up to the point he can't swallow. There is trouble with the feeding tube that was installed yesterday. In a matter of a couple of months, he has been reduced from an active man of 180 pounds to a frail unresponsive man of 97 pounds. Unless something changes, he may not last the night. I am the oldest of his 4 children. It is hardest on my mother. They have been married for 62 years. I do not know what I will do if he passes. My doctor may not let me travel yet. Per his directive to me 13 years ago, a DNR is in place. Please pray for us..............

The doctors have determined the hip infection has spead to the point that they are unable to treat it. With all that is wrong with him, he would not survive an operation. During the short windows he is lucid, he has been made aware of this. His request is to pass at home. He will be transported there this afternoon. It is just a matter of time...........
