i think you guys missed the point slightly, i didnt mean it was better than deep purple. i meant these guys are 100 percent serious in this rendition. notice not a single one smiled even when the audience was laughing.
i dunno for some reason i thought it was great that people would goto that much effort to do the song in the "Traditional Japanese" instrumentation

OMG I guess I am on a different planet or something. How dare they rape a classic rock song like that. Didn't we nuke them once or twice for less?

Something like that. We were a just bit annoyed over that Pearl Harbor thing but after ripping off a big band classic, we just lost our cool

I did't comment on the first time watching it thru a few days ago but...
Second time watching it, I Maxied the screen and pulled the headphone jack out and listened to it true fake surround sound with slight echo effects and rear speaker forced on and cranked it.
Sounded a LOT better, but afterwards me color seems the same and still smell the cat box.. But with sugar in it.
Can any one say less is more?
