Left for work in my 91 Explorer and arrived

Post by wvjohn »

in a modern Turbo-Diesel truck. Car had been overheating and was taking it in for service and something started going thunk-thunk and it stopped. Started it up a little later and it went thunk-thunk again. Failed a compression check at the garage. Looks like major $$$ and the car had some other issues as well.

looks like time to go shopping, really not in the budget for this month. :(

bah, that sux, although might be able to pick up something more economical for little money now... who knows, wish you luck. That thunk-thunk sounds pretty bad, last time I heard that my buddy's engine block cracked and dumped all oil on the ground after running it for 3 minutes.
My system:
TRS-80 microcomputer, with Z80 CPU, 4 KB RAM, 4 KB ROM, keyboard, black-and-white video display, and tape cassette
