i learn tonight look before you grab a case out of someones arm !

i get a call he bring me over two rigs to look at . i say ok no problem . he comes over im speaking to a forum member on my cell .(hehehehe) i grab the units as he about to drop them on the ground in the doorway .and its snowing he's in a rush has to get to work . so i just say I'll take them and look and see what i can do . OPPS ---- he gone i take them down stairs and i got a min so i say i just hook them up and see if they fire up .
1 st unit .---- is a packer bell {you know this is old } big server size case and heave compair to todays rigs . i see its old i fire it up the screen fires and saids the battery is doa . and its missing a floppy drive .
2nd rig -smaller case lucky i had a old keyboard around . its a 486/dx2 and wont fire past the bios !

man these are not worth me taking to the curb for trash ! :(

LMAO! LMK if you need any parts for them.. ;) I've got tons of shat laying around from older PCs.. :) i.e. ISA cards. :)

LOL I thought you were talking about beer and had stooped to theving some old ladys beer and was dissapointed with the brand...

I always tell customers that BFI will take them and then point them to the dumpster out back.

guy at the computer store next to my office had a case that was really tempting a double-wide dual p-300 server case with enough space for like 6-8 scsi drives, and about 15 other drives, etc

would be a lot of fun to see how much stuff you could pack in there
