Amazing. However here in the part of Texas that I live in, the only "live" christmas tree you will find would be Cotton.

Wow my parents have had a live tree every year ever. Personally I don't care it all takes too much time to decorate and all.

Those bastards light up fast. We stacked 3 on a big bonfire one year at New Years and the flame was at least 15 feet tall. It was unbelievable. We threw one on the fire at midnight so we rang in the new year with a nice burning christmas tree.

I have 20 acres and have to burn a lot of dead wood every year in my fire pit. The pines go up like bombs - the oil in the sap is extremely flammable.

hmm...reminds me why I'm glad that I no longer live in apartments where people love to leave their trees on 24-7.

What a waste of money buying a live tree. That is why I've gone to using a fake tree - takes all but 5 minutes to set it up, and it even comes with lights already on the tree. When we are finished with Christmas, then it goes back up in the rafters.

I would like a fake tree but the wife

has her say as well. We compromise with a real tree that SHE has to decorate. Up by me trees are only 23 bucks.
