invisible evil sent a box to lake havasue ,Arizona for me . last week it didn't make it there yet .
today sister who is at the home were box was sent gets a letter via . the post office from united parcel service .informing her they could not find the house to deliver it to .

wtf. they cant find the house so they send a letter to it . like saying were blind and need the post office to send us a seeing eye dog . to find the places we are taking are packages to .

this is just crazy sister has try-ed calling ups today to see about arranging to pick it up or redeliver .but being the weekend that was not able to be done .there offices are closed and all she got was a recording :(
i have never heard of ups sending out a letter to a address there driver couldn't find .
it don't even make since .why spend money on postage and a letter or post card to a address .when you cant find it yourself ?
i can see to the shipper -but to the delivery address . :bonk

I got an the same stupid "no-sense" letter... in most of the cases the sender forgot to put a number or apt or wrong zip code.. etc... so they kinda recheck the info sending a letter to the recipient and then if u get it you will pop up at ups for pick it up they do not re-deliver.

that is the only weak point I found in ups... but so far in order from best to worst I will do this list

1 USPS
2 UPS
3 FEDEX

the funny thing is that when you use USPS express mail, USPS use Fedex airplanes but the main problem is the ground delivery FEDEX SUX ! instead of having more small trucks like usps they have one big slow fat ass track so chances to get the package on time ..hmmm however ups its pretty good for example for xmas I got a ups package delivered by a Budget truck they rented extra trucks for a better service... but sometimes its just luck... :)

Well you do live in CA and probably close to their main warehouse. However with NewEgg it only takes it 2 days to get from CA to ATL for me. It's weird actually. When I was living in the house we had here in GA, it would take 3 days because of the final sorting place's location (which was further North) but I moved about 5 or 6 miles away and it would only take 2 days then. The final sorting place thingy was also different and probably bigger since it most likely did more traffic (Massive population density and business density and such compared to a newly developing rural type area with small densities for people and businesses).

Reasons for a post card from UPS

Bad address on package
Incomplete address
Wrong zip code
No apt/suite number
No address on house or business
Sent to person at a business with no company name or suite number on the package
locked gate
Dog in yard
Driver can not see your address from the street
Secuirty
Road construction
You pissed of the driver and he's paying you back

The list goes on......
