What I can't stand is that they'll ban you for damn near any reason, and the moderators purposely never reply to e-mails. Way back when I first had cable internet (Excite@Home through Comcast) was when I registered at Banandtech. When Excite folded, I forgot to update my @home.com e-mail address and they banned my username because of it. All attempts to contact the moderators failed. Twats, the lot of 'em.

they ignore emails from freeserve email addresses. but i didnt have any trouble contacting em through my personal domain email.
if you count temp bans, i've been banned like 5 times. but permanent bans, i've been banned 2x. first was a real ban, second was banning a second account i created cause i reformatted and lost the login cookie for the first account.
(because fusetalk sucks, if you're logged in at the time you're banned, you can still recieve PM's and set and cancel favorite threads. i use it for watching hot deals threads... and occasionally asking people about items they have for sale.)

that one looks too faked... i only read the first page.. looks too tit for tat style to be real. 99% sure they came from the same ip address..

I still go there for tech stuff and the reviews are good as is the hot deals .... but i quit using the fs/ft some time ago....just too iffy and too many lunatics...i sell my decent stuff here or to the computer shop next door....and who can possible have enough time to research a hot deal thread to see if it is a repost the way the lamers do over there?
