Anyone use VONage?

Since my wife doesn't work for the phone company anymore and we don't get the sweet deal of $20/month for phone + DSL (That included caller id, call waiting, call waiting caller id, voicemail, etc) we now pay $45 just for the phone.

We don't make or receive many calls, but I do want to start ramping up my business a bit, and hear a lot of good things about VONage.
They have a Unlimited small business package that's $49.00 a month and includes:
  • FREE Long Distance
  • FREE Call Waiting
  • FREE Voicemail
  • FREE Call Forwarding
  • FREE Repeat Dialing
  • Keep your current number
  • FREE Fax Line
  • FREE Call Transfer
  • FREE Caller ID Block
  • Free 3 Way Calling
  • Free Call Hunt
  • Free Personalized Voicemail
  • Free Call Forwarding
  • Free Call Transfer
  • Free Call Waiting
  • Free Caller ID with Name
  • Free Caller ID Block (*67)
  • Free Repeat Dialing
  • Free Call Return (*69)
  • Free International Call Block
  • Int'l Fees to Canada Waived!
  • Any area code of your choice
  • Virtual Phone Numbers
  • Great International Rates
  • Money-Back guarantee
(Some of those might be dupes, I'm copy & pasting from 2 diffrent pages)

They also have an option to get a personal 1-800 number for only $4.99/month that includes 100 minutes of call time. Then there's these virtual numbers for $5/month which let's you have a phone more phone numbers from any area code attached to your primary vonage number... It seems to good to be true to me.

Has anyone used there service? I've read some positive reviews but I'd love to hear some first hand knowledge. I was reluctant to signup for some time, as they didn't have 911 - but now they do and I don't really have any qualms about doing it if it sounds like a normal call/doesn't flake out/etc on me.
Heck, I won't even be considering it if it wasn't for the roadrunner service in Southeastern WI being so damn good - best service I've ever had, and it's a cable modem!

Ok, I'll stop rambling hehe.

I've had it for about 8 months now and I use it for conference calls for work primarily. I did got some problems if I was downloading full one, but I configure QoS on my router and have not had a problem since.

I have a nice Polycom speaker phone on my desk and a cordless hooked up to it. Soon, I'm going to make the jump and use it for the main line for the house.

I'm looking at this now, but it really sucks for me because they don't offer my area code. So I will probably just stick with the cell phone until they can give me my area code because I don't want my family here to have to dial me long distance to talk to me, and the 800# doesn't offer enough minutes for me to add the extra $5 heh.. But whenever my Area Code is offered I'll more than like move to this.
