That being said I dont get the whole fried chicken/watermelon thing.I'm white and I do not know one southerner that does not enjoy those things.What most call "soul food" is just good old fashioned southern cooking that my family has eaten for generations.

I hear ya Syn... i don't know many people around here who don't like fried chicken and watermelon either... I remember when i was in high school had a mexican call me a f*ckin' cracker... don't bother me any but i called him a greasey spic right back... needless to say i was washing the lunch room tables for a week over it. Little bastard ran into the principals office throwing a fit... didn't matter that he called me a cracker but i shouldn't have called him a spic according to our white POS principal...

Warran Sapp, for those that don't know is an NFL player for tampa bay. He said a few weeks ago: <i>"about the only reason they allow whites on football teams is to attract white fans."</i>

Gee, now if that were reversed and a white player said that about black, Oh my, lions and tigers and bears. But 'he's a minority' so he can get away with it. And he knows that.

Then he recently mouthed off about his fine for hitting a ref as he was 'skipping' saying it's the 'slavemaster again".

Reverse that with a white person. He'd be blacklisted forever.

Not to mention this bullsh!t from sapp towards a white person. Now if a white person did that to a black, oh my again.


I notice many white sports announcers being very careful to chose their words, at times like walking on eggs. Sometimes clearly kissing up to minorities and praising one over a similarly deserving white athlete.

Why can blacks say some words and whites can't? Like the 'N' word. That IS racist and total bs. All this accomplishes it to cause more resentment. Many seem to enjoy that fact as a form of 'payback'. It's like revenge for 'honkey' mofo or 'whitey' not effecting us.

Wonder how they'd feel if there was a word only we could say and thay can't. My gawd, the naacp, jesse jagoff, sharpton, would call and sue holey hell.

Or if there was a white entertainment network, white beauty pageant, etc. etc.

Also, BET owns the new Charlotte NBA franchise and so far all I've seen them hire are all blacks for various office and personel. Players don't matter at this point. Wonder how many whites will go to those games.

That is so ignorant on so many levels. You can't judge a whole group because a minority of them whine. A lot of this "Black "sh!t is just a way for others to make money off of them. It's Marketing pure and simple.
