I have sent an email to the attorney generel in CA.
maybe you guys would know if i need to do anything else.

A short of the E-mail I sent

"My son had ordered a girls gone wild video from GGW video appx. 2 years ago.
recently we have noticed a big deficit in our checking account balance wich led us to investigate why our balance had been so low,
After investigating we found that GGW Video has been charging our account 24.98 per month ever since the "single video" was purchased.
I called to find ask why it has been charged over and over and they claim I was sent all these videos. Furthermore The address they claim to be sending them to I have not lived at for 15 months.
I never authorized more than one charge for a video and am furious that they continue to debit my credit card month after month.
please let me know what steps i need to take to recieve my money back from this company."

BTW I contacted GGW Video and they are the rudest people I have ever talked too.
And refuse to have anything to do with refunding my money.
and flat out called me a liar when i said i have not ordered or received any videos after the 1 original.

what else can i do ?

ps.... all the stayments i could dig up was 17@24.98 per month
and before you say it....... i know i should check my statement more often than 2 years :)
well,we have but it just never raised a red flag

you will see faster results by contesting the charges with your CC company. then the CC company goes after them for you. :)

I would think that you should be able to file in small claims court for that amount. Small claims court are amounts under $5000.

Ouch... sorry to hear that.. I am terrified to use a debit card online. I think a CC is safer. You should contact a lawer. It may cost a couple of bucks, but a lawer, might scare them a bit. Also, spread some bad press about them. Here is good, but send email to some news organizations. With the bad press they got recently with their founder getting arrested, this might work as well.

Is this a debit card or a credit card? You seem to indicate that it might be a debit card, in which case, you're pretty much screwed.

Let this be a lesson to everyone: NEVER NEVER NEVER use debit cards online! You're asking to get ripped off. :)
