And just get it over with. They are too pathetic to live.

PARIS, France (AP) -- The ace of spades? Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld gets the honor in a new French deck of cards. President Bush is the king of diamonds and Osama bin Laden the joker.

The game takes a jab at the famous deck of cards created for U.S. soldiers hunting down ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and other leaders from the deposed regime.

"I found it completely indecent to present a manhunt as a game," said Thierry Meyssan, the man behind the French deck. "We thought this card game would allow us to ... explain why we consider the government of George Bush a threat to international security."

Meyssan is the author of a one-time French best seller, "9-11: The Big Lie," claiming that no plane ever crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, and that the attacks were plotted by a faction within the U.S. military.

Now, Meyssan said in a telephone interview, he wants to expose "the 52 most dangerous American officials."

Meyssan heads the Voltaire Network, a left-wing association that put the cards on its Internet site.

A little over 2,500 decks a la francaise have been sold, at $9.20 each, on the Internet in recent weeks, Meyssan said. There are plans to sell the decks in stores soon and translate them into 10 languages, he said.

Same idiot frenchman who published that book saying we destroyed our own people and buildings did this.

Azzholes like them add to making the world hate us. They will not be satisfied till france is the main ruling world party.
"I found it completely indecent to present a manhunt as a game,"

"Let's welcome our OLD friends the French, and out NEW friends the Germans..." - Tom Lehrer, 1957

I know I'm beating a dead horse hear, but IT'S ALL ABOUT OIL!

1) France, Germany & Russia ALL had lucrative contracts with Saddam Hussein to handle oil distribution for Iraq once the embargo was lifted. Those contracts are now null and void - DUH wonder why those three countries were against the war?

2) Most of the current contracts for the rebuilding of oil infrastructure and oil distribution are going to American, UK and Austrailian companies. DUH wonder why France, Germany & Russia are pissed at us?

These countries are all no better than children playing marbles in the playground - they get pissed and take their marbles and go home....

:D

I'm surprized the French see anyone as threatening, since they don't even know what it is to put up a fight.

FP you are beating a dead horse...
However the above two quotes are in the right IMO

But do you really believe a person who wrote a book called: "9-11: The Big Lie," claiming that no plane ever crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, and that the attacks were plotted by a faction within the U.S. military could understand something so deep and complicated that their governments sand on the war was all about MONEY. F&CK the French.

hi folks,

I am a french guy, living/working for several months in california. I d like to bring you my view about this.

I heard also about the book you are talking about. I hope you dont make a big amalgam with this book and french people. because this king of situation is not the fact of one man, and also because this kind of "advertising" can be find as much in france as in america.

To my eyes, there is two things which are interesting and that need to be emphasized :

-This author is a poor bastard who wants to make more money by putting a title of this kind, and this is condemnable. ...maybe a guy who want people to fall in the trap of buying the book.

-This book, as a project, get the virtue to utter a different opion of the 9/11 events. Since it is said to be based on several evidences (according to critics seen onCiao-website because I dont read the book), this book remains a legitimate part of liberty expression.

I have just head of the deck cards with this post. It problably proves that the guy only wants to make money which is really shameful.

Welcome slvn. :)

I have to disagree there. What 'evidence'? The many live tv and individual cameras and pictures caught this as it all happened. I was even watching as the second plane hit.

The so called 'evidence' is total bs thought up by those who hate us. And to try and capitalize and make money. Plain despicable. All it acomplishes is to bring more hate on America.

'liberty expression"

To do what he did and accused is mocking the deaths of those who died and all Americans. Then consider it was coming from a Frenchman, the country who was most against our decisions. Which as FP noted above, was due to their own selfish self-interests.

I can't speak for all "french" out there but I would think most if not some do not reflect this opinion. Take a quote from the man George Carlin

- If you are going to be a customer some time in your life, just even once, I guarrantee you have the ability to be an azzhole! -

I'm just saying there are more azzholes out there than just the French, we have em as well.

Secondly, did you not for once think that when our "enimies" were put on a deck of cards and we rated them by the card they were on, this kind of crap would not come out!?

The deck of cards was Bushes patriot propaganda machine working and now it's backfiring. Go figure.

I would not label the cards a propaganda. It was a way to get the faces of the "most wanted' to everyone. Our military was out there, most of them with time to spare. They were already playing cards. This was a way to get them familiar with the dangerous and wanted people of which most of them have never seen.
Just like posting the most wanted on the walls of the post office and missing children on milk. Its not Propaganda to me.
