Comcast Users - some good news

Post by UberNeuman »

Comcast Corp. the largest U.S. cable operator, on Monday said it planned to double the downloading capability of its high-speed Internet service by the end of this year to distinguish its product from competitors.

I'm a Comcast user, and I'm glad to hear the news - and as a former @Home user, I'm happy to go back to the olde speeds again... :D

Comcast doubled my upload speed about 6 months ago - I'm 1.5M down / 256K up now :)

I've been from @home - to attbi - to comcast...

All of those services have been good for the most part - but the drop in download speeds have been a bummer, which started after @home became Attbi... If Comcast is willing to push it up again, then I'm all for it..

Would like to see a little more work on the upload... ;)

I wish we had Comcast out here. Cable would kick our 512/256 dsl connection. Since we have Dish, and their is only one cable providor out here, we'll be with DSL for a long time... (CableONE)
