I beleive the 50 & 100's will be redesigned in the 1st Quarter next year.

I beleive they are on a 7 year cycle for all notes to help keep counterfeiters off track.

Another classic piece of government stupidity.

Professionals in the field argued that when they changed the money last time they should have added color then too and gotten it over with. They warned that the changes proposed then weren't going to be enough without adding color.

So now we're doing it all over again so instead of a one time expense it's a two time one and it'll take several years to get the new bills in circulation. If they'd done it all in one shot last time we'd have color bills well in circulation already.

Idiots.
