Isn't the moon more susceptible to asteroid hits because there is no atmosphere to burn up the smaller ones?

If an asteroid hit the planet, I don't think the few dazed survivors of the subsequent holocaust would really give a rats behind about 2000 Terabytes of financial records backed up on the moon :)

Besides, is the server going to be running Windows? If so, who the hell is going to reboot it when it crashes every month? :D

thats what the "stick" is for

its a LONG dowelrod with one end stationed in nasa while the other reaches to the power button to the computer on the moon :D

well then, if we are using a big stick, why not get two sticks and build a big ladder..... forget those rockets
